AREA worked as a sub-consultant to DiGeronimo Architects and provided engineering and inspection services for the widening of Platform H and replacement of the deteriorated expansion joint on Platform H at the ninth car location in Stage III at Newark Pennsylvania Station. Engineering services also included preparation of details for the repair of deteriorated conditions along the edge of the overhang portion for the entire length of Platform B and C at Newark Pennsylvania Station. AREA was also responsible for providing Stage IV post design services for the 9-car service platform modifications.
